View, sort, select, and delete LDAP (lightweight directory access protocol) server objects.

View LDAP Server Objects

In this window, you can view or delete previously saved LDAP server objects. Extreme Networks RADIUS servers can store user accounts locally or check user login credentials against user accounts stored externally on an Active Directory or LDAP user database servers. You must be in the network policies workflow to configure LDAP servers. For Help about how to configure LDAP servers, see " LDAP Servers".

This LDAP Server Objects table displays the following information:

  • LDAP Server Name: The name of the LDAP server object.
  • LDAP Server Address: The IP address of the LDAP server.
  • Order: A number that indicates whether the LDAP server is the main or the backup server in case of failover.
  • Used By: The number of different SSIDs that support the specific LDAP server object. Hover your cursor over any non-zero number to more details.

Clone an LDAP Server

You can add a new object or profile by cloning an existing object or profile and then renaming it. Select the check box for the object or profile that you want to clone and then select . Enter the new name in the Save As field, and then select Clone.

Delete One or More Objects

You can delete one or more LDAP server objects. To delete a single object, select the check box for that object, and then select and confirm the deletion.

To delete multiple LDAP server objects at the same time, first select the check boxes for the objects that you want to delete, and then select and confirm the deletion.
