  • The AP630 is a high-performance, dual-band concurrent access point with one 11ax 4x4 2.4 G and one 11ax 4x4 5 G radio. The AP630 is designed for indoor high-density environments that require HD video streaming and large file transfers. Equipped with two 10/100/100 Mb Ethernet ports, a Console port, and powered by PoE; this device supports IEEE 802.11ax OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access).

    Install the AP

    The following sections describe how to mount your AP on a dropped ceiling track or to a wall.

    Shipping Carton Contents

    The AP630 access point shipping carton contains the following items:

    • AP630 chassis
    • AP630 mounting bracket
    • Read Me card

    You can mount the AP630 on a flat surface or wall, or on the rails of a standard dropped ceiling grid. There is also an accessory mounting bracket that allows you to install the device in Armstrong-style dropped ceilings (ordered separately).

    The following sections describe how to install your AP630 devices and connect them to the network.
