New Features and Enhancements
You can access the A3 Web Admin interface by using the URL https://<ip_address>:1443, where <ip_address> is the IP address of the A3 virtual machine.
The following new features and enhancements were added in this release of Extreme Networks A3:
A3 2.0.1 features the ability for the admin to remove a node from a cluster manually. If a node becomes unresponsive , the admin can select the node in ExtremeCloud IQ on the A3 Inventory page, and then click Remove. After the node is removed, the admin can create another node and add it to the existing cluster.
The following are known issues in this release of Extreme Networks A3:
|A3-920||When an admin restarts an entire cluster, one of the cluster node database sometimes cannot start properly.|
|A3-910||If the initial setup is not completed by the time the current DHCP lease expires, A3 loses its IP address.|
|A3-892||A3 sometimes reports the incorrect license capacity after reboot.|
|A3-865||The Delete Inventory check box and Delete icon incorrectly appear when the admin is logged in with Observer or Monitor privileges.|
|A3-860||When an admin attempts to restore a cluster from VM snapshots, A3 is sometimes unable to start because of an empty pf.conf file.|
|A3-857||A3 does not start properly after an admin removes an active node from a three-nodes cluster that has and inactive node.|
|A3-475||A3 sometimes applies VLANs to the incorrect interface in situations in which there are multiple Ethernet interfaces.|
|Some in-product documentation links within the A3 interface do not link correctly to the documentation.|
|Profile installation on MacOS requires the captive web portal to be opened using Safari browser.|
|Clicking Restart All to restart services on the Services page does not successfully restart some services and can result in unpredictable behavior.|
The following issues have been addressed in the release of Extreme Networks A3:
|A3-704||Joining A3 nodes to an Active Directory domain is unsuccessful when the node hostname is more than 15 characters.|
|A3-700||When removing nodes from an A3 cluster, it is currently necessary to remove all inactive nodes before removing any active nodes.|
|A3-615||The Cloud Integration page currently does not work with Microsoft browsers (IE and Edge).|
|A3-543||The network interface configuration UI currently displays IPv6 and inlines settings, despite these features being unsupported.|
|A3-526||Joining an Active Directory domain is sometimes unsuccessful on the first attempt.|
|A3-202||Certificate information display currently does not work with Firefox and Microsoft browsers.|
